Some shades whisper. This one arrives wearing jewellery. It's one of a kind - literally. There is only this one!

It all started with the happiest shade of pink linen. Bright enough to make me smile, but simple enough that it felt like it was waiting for something. Then I happened upon this extraordinary embroidered trim.

Rows of tiny stitches, shimmering metallic thread and jewel-like colours that wouldn't look out of place weaving through a bustling souk in Marrakech. It didn't need much persuading. The two were clearly meant to meet! The embroidered trim is hand finished, each tiny stitch catches the light differently, giving the shade a little sparkle as you wander past.

Handmade as a 30cm drum, this shade is lined in rich red cotton, so when switched on it glows with the warmest rosy light.

It's joyful.
It's colourful.
It's just a tiny bit glamorous.
