For now, we ship to UK addresses only.

How quickly will my order arrive?

It depends on whether your shade is already made or needs to be made for you.

Ready-to-ship shades

Most of the shades you see on the website are already made and ready to go. We'll usually dispatch these within 1–2 working days of receiving your order.

Made-to-order shades

If your shade needs to be made, we'll usually dispatch it within 3–5 working days.

Some designs — particularly hand-sewn, bespoke or customised shades — take a little longer. If that's the case, we'll agree the timescale with you before we get started.

Once your order has been dispatched, we'll send you tracking information so you can keep an eye on its journey.

How will my shade be delivered?

We use a range of trusted UK delivery services, including Royal Mail and Parcelforce, choosing the most suitable service for the size and shape of your order.

Larger or more awkwardly shaped shades may need a different delivery service to smaller shades. Don't worry, that's our problem to solve, not yours.

Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees, as occasionally parcels have adventures of their own.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is calculated according to the size of your order and shown at checkout before you pay.

We'd rather charge a fair price for postage than pretend delivery is free and quietly build it into the price of every shade.

Packed With Care

Your shade is handmade, so we don't just chuck it in a box and hope for the best.

Every shade is packed in a reinforced cardboard box, wrapped and protected with paper or card padding where needed to help keep it safe on its journey.

Because handmade things deserve better than a battered box.

What if my parcel is delayed?

First things first: don't panic.

If your tracking hasn't updated for a while or your parcel seems to have gone wandering, get in touch and we'll help you investigate it with the delivery company.

Delivery estimates aren't guarantees, and occasionally things happen that are outside our control. We'll keep you informed and do what we can to get things moving.

What if my parcel arrives damaged?

We're careful about how we pack your shade, but parcels sometimes have a rough time on the road.

If your shade arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and send us a few photos of the shade and its packaging. We'll work with you to put things right.

Nobody wants a battered box or a damaged shade. Least of all us.

What if my tracking says it's been delivered but I can't find it?

Have a quick look around your property and check whether it has been left in a safe place or with a neighbour.

If you still can't find it, get in touch and we'll help you investigate with the delivery company.

A note about bespoke and made-to-order shades

If we've agreed to make a bespoke, customised or duplicate shade for you, we'll confirm the expected making and dispatch time before we start.

If you need something by a particular date, please ask before ordering. We'll always do our best, but we'd rather be honest about what's possible than promise the moon and leave you staring at a bare lampshade base.
