This super cute 20cm diameter handmade drum lampshade has a little story to tell.
Against a crisp white background, little grey rabbits wander through a woodland of teal and golden trees, with delicate foliage winding its way around them. It has that wonderfully nostalgic, almost storybook quality to it… a little bit of woodland storybook charm, a little bit childhood favourite, and entirely lovely.
Look inside the shade and there's the most gorgeous teal velvet lining. Rich, soft and beautifully tactile, it turns this sweet woodland print into something with a little more depth and drama. And when the lamp is switched on? That teal lining brings a lovely warmth to the light, while the rabbits and foliage take on a whole new character.
Small but perfectly formed, this is a shade for a bedside table, a cosy reading corner or anywhere that could do with a little woodland magic. Charming without being sugary, and with just enough velvet to feel rather special.
I was lucky enough to snap up enough of this fabric combination to make a tiny handful of shades, so there are just a few chances to bring one home. Once they're gone, they're gone.
